spacer table section spacer table section
Freethinker spacer Believing the Bible is only easy when you are a foolish individual with a weak mind who has allowed a cult to brainwash you. Considering the fact that there is no evidence to backup the outrageous stories of the Bible, especially the idea that there is a god, believing the Bible should not only be difficult, it should be considered impossible. And no, living by what the Bible says isn't easy either. That's why the 4th Watch doesn't follow most of what the Bible says. Despite how much they hate gays and the fact that the Bible commands its followers to kill them, the 4th Watch ignores this command, probably because they are unwilling to break the law and lose their lives. Just as well, the leader wouldn't make as much money anyways. But in addition to all that, the 4th Watchers allow women to teach, as well as many other things that go against the Bible. The only thing that makes living the Bible easier is brainwashing, which all 4th Watchers are subjected to. spacer

Freethinker spacer Only brainwashed individuals would believe and find it acceptable that someone could "save" you from Hell by punishing someone else. A normal person sees that as immoral and senseless. A brainwashed person has no problem with the idea of torturing and killing someone else in order to put your responsibilities for the wrong things you've done in life being perfectly acceptable, and shows more about how brainwashed cult members do not think straight and are unwilling to take responsibility for their own actions. spacer

Freethinker spacer If you do not get what you want and God's just going to provide what you need anyway, then what is the point of praying? This is one of those examples where Christian ideology just doesn't make sense. And further more, the statement's a lie. There is no plan and there is no God. Just ask all the starving children and the millions of persons dying of AIDS in Africa if God is giving them what they need. My thought is no. spacer

Freethinker spacer Another irresponsible thing to say to somebody. Cult members are trained to not only hate themselves, but to not put any trust into themselves or anyone else. Instead, they are taught to put one-hundred percent of all their trust and love into someone that they cannot see, touch, interact with, or experience in any way. In other words, they trust someone who they can't even verify actually exists at all. The truth is, they trust someone who doesn't exist. And that is not only unwise, but dangerous. spacer

spacer Funny how the lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene pass freely through cyberspace but the public discussion about Jesus is suppressed in the school and work place. Funny isn't it? Freethinker spacer We have the lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene passing freely through cyberspace because we are a free people. We deserve to say what we want and to do what we want. However, there are times when it is not appropriate. That's why we don't allow such things in school and the work place. Since God and the Bible is completely made up of lewdness, crudeness, vulgarity, and obscenity, it makes sense that these things are suppressed in school and the work place. Further more, there are a million other religions out there that do not believe in the Christian god. You might really love and believe in your god, but we cannot allow in such places the promotion of one god while excluding all other gods. You wouldn't like it if your school practiced prayers to Allah or if your work place allowed the proselytizing of Pagans. If you want Jesus in your spaces, you'd have to allow othe r gods to be fair. If you don't want to be fair, then you're only helping your cultic image get worse. spacer

spacer table section spacer table section
Freethinker spacer This isn't ironic, nor is it funny. We believe what the newspapers say because they report information that is important to our society, and it is fact checked and verified for accuracy. We question what the Bible says for the same reason you would question a book about King Arthur and Merlin the Wizard if it was being presented to you as factual. The Bible is nothing more than a book of fairytales that are not to be believed. Science has never been able to verify the outrageous supernatural stories of the Bible. With that and the fact that following the Bible involves negatively affecting the lives of billions of persons, such as by giving your life to God and treating homosexuals and women like crap, it would be completely stupid and irresponsible not to question it. spacer

Freethinker spacer Do you have any proof of this? Do you have any evidence ? You are assuming with your primitive way of thinking that because the universe and earth seem designed to you, that they were designed, when in fact science has already shown that no designer was necessary. Since we have no evidence of a designer and we have evidence that we don't need one, before you can make the claim that everything was designed and that we need a designer, you're going to have to provide evidence for that claim, which you and your kind constantly fail to do. And then, if one day you do provide that evidence, then you have another challenge-to provide evidence that the designer of this design is God, your Christian god. Good luck with that. spacer

spacer table section spacer table section
Freethinker spacer This right here represents the dangerous influence a cult can have on a person, and foretells the dangerous consequences that cults can have on the world. There are serious problems in our nations, and we need persons in office who can effectively deal with these problems. The belief in God is not an adequate qualification for being a politician. If you vote for someone simply because they believe in God, then you are nothing but a fool who is irresponsibly helping to add to these problems, especially since it is often the religious politicians that create these problems in the first place. We can't have leaders putting into place policies that reflect Christian immorality, nor can we trust someone to lead based on only one characteristic, especially if it's the belief in a god, an evil god no less. With thoughts like this, is it any wonder that we have the problems in the world that we do? If we have a problem with AIDS in our country, we need politicians who understand this problem and who work to help find a cure, not politicians who simply believe in God and feel that prayer is the cure to this disease. spacer

spacer Had lively "interaction" with a Muslim guy today! Couldn't explain why there are mosques in US but we don't have churches in MIddle East! spacer Cult Member
table section spacer table section
spacer

spacer table section spacer table section
Freethinker spacer I can explain it. First of all, there are some Christian churches in the Middle East, just not in certain countries. This is because those countries are founded upon religion, in particular, Islam, which is based off an immoral book called the Qur'an, which makes them Islamic nations that practice Islamic government, and in that government, are laws which prohibit the practicing of any other religions, the penalty for doing so being death. Obviously, there will not be many Christian churches in such countries, nor of any other religion besides Islam. Here in the U.S., we allow the practice of any religion because unlike those Middle Eastern countries, the U.S. is not founded upon any religion. This country is a secular nation that practices a government that embraces concepts such as equality and freedom, which allows anyone to practice any religion that they want to, including Islam and Christianity. That is why you see both Christian churches and Muslim mosques here, as well as other places of worship of other religions. If however, like the Middle East that bases their countries off of Islam and the Qur'an, the U.S. based its country on the equally immoral Christianity and Holy Bible, which includes laws that also prohibit other religions from being practiced, also with the price being death if not followed, then there would be no mosques. Fortunately, the U.S. is not a Christian nation and persons are not persecuted for the religions that they follow, unless of course their actions are harmful towards others. So pastor, now you know! spacer

spacer table section spacer table section
Freethinker spacer A classic example of someone jumping to the conclusion that God is answering prayers. First of all, there is no evidence to suggest that God is even real, so that right there lowers significantly the chance of any prayer answering going on. But forget that for a second. Deeply superstitious persons like the 4th Watchers believe that God is always answering their prayers. They set this belief up so that they can't be incorrect. No matter what outcome a prayer might have, a 4th Watcher can always tell you that the prayer was answered. Sometimes, you get what you want. Sometimes you don't get what you want for a long time, but eventually do. God just had you wait for a better time to receive it. Sometimes, you don't get what you want at all, but that's just because God has a better idea for you. The truth is, you can get the same kind of results from praying to a bottle of milk or an almighty toilet.

But despite that, 4th Watchers and most other cult members only focus on the times they get what they want, and don't even consider the times when they don't. The truth is, answered prayers are nothing more than coincidences of getting what you want after praying for it. To show you what I'm saying, I'll tell a brief story here.

A few years ago, I was out of a job for a few months then, and I had a credit card bill about to be past due, with rent coming up. I was very scared and didn't know how to handle my situation because I had no money. One night, I said to myself that I was in badly need of some money. I told myself that if I only had three-hundred dollars, that that would be all I needed to get me through the month without having to worry and if I only had that much, I was positive I could find a job by then. The very next day, I received in the mail a check from my father for three-hundred dollars! I was in complete shock. Of course, I was happy as can be. I thanked my father and told him the story.

First of all, I didn't pray to God. Praying to God is not required to receive positive moments like this in your life. Naturally, I first thought that maybe I somehow shaped the universe to give me what I wanted, or somehow used an unknown psychic power, or maybe some deity out there was listening to me and made my wish come true. But then I thought about it more, and all the times when I had wished for something and had never gotten it. I realized that it was just a coincidence, that is all, and that sometimes things like that just happen in life.

Had I prayed to God about it before hand, I no doubt would have given serious consideration that it was indeed God's doing. Unfortunately, this 4th Watcher did just that. Of course, her prayer would have been answered anyway, according to their philosophy, but the fact that she received such a positive outcome after praying, was all the "proof" that she needed to convince her that God was answering her. But the truth is, there is no God. Coincidences happen, as I have just shown here. And to this day, there is no evidence to suggest that prayers do any more good than not praying. When we put so much superstition into our lives, we set them up for a life of doom.

But the idea that peace is the presence of God is not only incorrect, it is disgustingly wrong! Anyone who truly knows the Bible knows that this statement is a showing of pure stupidity. Every opportunity he sees, God creates affliction! He has flooded the entire Earth for crying out loud, killing trillions. He has killed more persons than anyone in the history of the world. He calls upon his people to kill others and to start wars, promoting violence to the extreme. He forces women to marry their rapists and for parents to kill their children when they are disobedient. Peace is the presence of God? No, violence is the presence of God. spacer

But in any case, to suggest that we all have something to sacrifice, and to suggest that we should all sacrifice something on the value as one of our own children...well that's just pure stupidity and evil.
