spacer What They Believe

The Apocalypse

One of the more frightening aspects of religions is their doctrines on the end of the world, which is part of a series of other frightening events known as the Apocalypse. As many religions have their own ideas on how the world and everything in it was created, they also have their own idea on how everything will end. Christianity has an especially elaborate story which Christians believe was brought to them by a revelation also known as the Apocalypse. Exactly what happens varies somewhat among the different Christian religions, but we will try to give a decent overall explanation of it here.

First, before the apocalypse takes place, we will enter a period of time in which every event of the apocalypse takes place in known as the End Times. We will know that we are in the End Times when we witness special signs that warn us that the Apocalypse will soon take place. Examples of such signs include earthquakes, wars, and atheists. The rise of the Antichrist, a very evil person who will do the best he can to turn others against Christ, will rise during this time. After all of these special signs have come to pass, the Apocalypse will begin. The Apocalypse starts with an event known as the Rapture, in which all of the believers and only the believers, vanish instantly, appearing with Jesus in the air, who then takes them to his kingdom. The day this happens is known as Judgment Day. After the Rapture, Jesus then begins the Tribulation, in which for the next seven years, everyone who was left after the others were taken, those who did not believe, are judged by Christ and killed off to join Satan, while the Earth is being destroyed with fire. The Earth's fiery destruction is often referred to as Hell on Earth. During this time, the Anti-Christ will gain power. It is shortly after this when Jesus will return to Earth, and it is this event that is known as the Second Coming of Christ. At the end of the Tribulation, there will be a great battle known as the Battle at Armeggedon, fought by Satan and his army of non-believers, including the Antichrist, against Jesus and his chosen people. Jesus will defeat Satan, and Satan will be bound inside of a bottomless pit and all of his army will be thrown into a lake of fire where they will experience torment for the rest of eternity. After all of this has happened and the Tribulation has ended, Jesus will set up his Millennial Kingdom on Earth, where he will rule for a thousand years in which there will be peace among all peoples. After the thousand years, God will let Satan out to tempt anyone remaining in this kingdom into sin. After this, Jesus will destroy the Earth, carrying out the End of the World. The day this happens is referred to as Doomsday. Jesus will then judge everyone who has ever lived, rewarding believers, and punishing non-believers. All non-believers are sent to Hell, where they will be tortured forever. All believers are sent to Heaven with Jesus, where they will worship God forever.

Wow, that's quite a fairytale! Apparently, we have been living in the End Times for nearly two-thousand years now, because every new generation on this Earth always seems to believe that Jesus will return in their lifetimes. In fact, at least once every year, some kook somewhere in the world makes a prediction as to when exactly the end of the world will happen, but every one of these dates come to pass and the world never seems to end; Perhaps because it's all a bunch of bull?

All notions of the Apocalypse and the end of the world are complete cultic fairytales, and anyone who says differently are no doubt programmed by cultic organizations. The Christian religion teaches the Apocalypse, but cults practically specialize in it. While most Christian churches do teach about such events, it is mostly the Christian cults that can't stop talking about it. Basically, only cults incorporate these kinds of teachings in so much of their preaching. The end of the world fantasies in which cults love to embrace are among the most prominent cultic features that fuel their existence and growth. Cults love anything to do with the end of the world. They practically wet themselves talking about the likes of Armaggedon and the Rapture. This is because cults thrive on producing fear, and the notion of the world ending with pain, death, and eternal suffering keeps that fear alive, and the imaginary short time limit that cults place on the world helps them to obtain more slaves into their cultic grip.

Any church that includes a great portion of their teachings being the end of the world, the Apocalypse, the Rapture, the end times, the second coming of Jesus, and anything related to this, is probably a cult. This is most especially true when the church teaches as to when this will all take place, or if they claim that we are in the end times now, that the Apocalypse will happen very soon, possibly even within our own lifetimes. If you hear someone tell you that they believe Jesus will return within their lifetime, this is evidence that you are dealing with a cultic nut. But an even greater sign that you are dealing with a cult is when all of these end time apocalyptic teachings are proclaimed by a leader of a church, actually given to this person by God himself. When this happens, don't walk...run. You have just met a cult leader.

The PMCC 4th Watch is a Christian cult that embraces such apocalyptic teachings...so much so that their name is based off of them, as well as their school. The cult teaches that we are now in the end times...that all of the signs for the Apocalypse are here, and that Jesus is coming soon, and that the Rapture could happen at any minute or any day now. Of course, they've been teaching this now for the past thirty years, just as much as the other cults that came before them, ever since the death of Jesus. But anyways, the leader of the 4th Watch, Arsenio Ferriol, claims that God himself revealed to him that the Apocalypse will soon be happening; well of course, it's practically a requirement for every cult leader to have such a revelation from God; otherwise, what kind of cult leader would you be? This revelation also told of how time was divided into four periods by God called "watches", and according to God, the fourth watch is the End Time, and that we are all now living in the fourth watch, so we are all now indeed living in the end times. Arsenio called his church the "4th Watch" after this end time revelation. Of course, the 4th Watch is an invention of Arsenio himself, just as the Apocalypse was an invention of someone else before him, and how Jesus was an invention before him, and so on. It is an unbiblical concept, but one in which Arsenio and his church have used exhaustingly to take advantage of persons by inducing fear, and then using that fear to enslave new members. New members mean more money, more power, more glory...And the end time teachings are imposed even more so on their students in the 4th Watch Maranatha Christian school in the Philippines, and according to a 4th Watcher, "maranatha" means "the Lord is coming"; though they have since changed that name.

4th Watchers are absolutely convinced that they are all now living in the End Times and that Jesus will be returning soon, most likely whithin their lifetime. The cult has them so full of paranoia, that with every bad thing that happens in the world, they see it as a sign from God that they are indeed in the End Times and that Jesus' return will be hapening shortly. Seriously; if there is a hurricane, it will be a sign of the End Times. If there is an earthquake, it's a sign of the End Times. If they see an atheist on TV, it's an obvious sign that the end is near. With these guys, someone could blow their nose and one of them will take it as a sign. They make videos about the Rapture, using the fear that they to scare other persons into following their paranoia. Constantly being afraid of the end of the world is superstition to the max.

Just listen to some of these paranoid cultic fools:
